Peter Jones was in Bali when the terrorist bomb exploded. It shook the house he was in. He went outside to investigate and saw a huge fire ball and a big cloud of smoke. He went toward it to see what was going on and saw by far the worst things he has ever seen in his life. He sends his hope than none of us will ever have to experience something like that.

Teresa Muñoz
Teresa Muñoz is the November 2002 Artist of the Month. Teresa began by painting on wood 15 years ago and now draws and uses oil paint on canvas. Teresa has been inspired and guided by two renowned artists, Juan Abellán Juliá and Manuel Luca de Tena. In Teresa's work it is possible to appreciate, on the one hand, perfectly conceived landscapes and on the other hand, very well finished figures.

Teresa's preoccupation resides in objects and their relations, with a profusion of hot colors, often with cool ones in the background. The artist gives form and color to feelings, memories of family, and illusions by the way spaces are left. Elements of Teresa's paintings intermingle and demonstrate the passion in the artist's creative world.
